Disney Pin Offer
For those out there who collect Disney pins…
I saw a special deal from Energizer. At quick glance it seemed to be an 8 pack of AA batteries with a “Happiest Celebration” pin included. I saw it at Shoppers Drug. Cool thing is that the pin is right there and you don’t have to send away for it.

I can’t find any info about it on their website … but they do have a Narnia snowglobe offer.

Pin ideas
A little while back a cast member told me that:

1) There is a book that shows all the pin designs that have been made. Anyone know what it's called, or where it is?

2) That you can submit pin suggestions or designs. Anyone know where one would do that?

Hey, I'm Tysha and I collect Disney Pins (starting to sound like an AA meeting!)

I mainly collect the Disney Dragons and Lilo & Stitch pins but I do tend to pick up whatever takes my fancy (if I can afford it!)

My latest special two are:
The Disneyland Paris Limited Edition Lilo & Stitch train pin (LE of 900) which was released on Saturday, it just happened to be the last day of my holiday over there. I got mine from the Santa Fe hotel shop and never saw another one all day so I think they must have sold out really quickly.
And the Stitch Pin Trader 626 pin from DisneyAuctions.com, although I got mine via eBay. It hasn't arrived yet but then I only paid for it yesterday.

Hello all! I'm a 17 year old pin addict, er, um, collector from northern california. I restrict myself to mickey pins only to cut down on the cost so that I might maybe have enough money to go to college someday. :-)
Anyhow, just stopping in to say hello, introduce myself, and gloat that I'm leaving for Disneyland in about 4 hours. *gloat gloat gloat*

Hmm... it looks like there haven't been many posts for awhile. Is this community still active?

Hello, my name's Adam, and I've been collecting off-and-on for about 4 years now, though, an overall shortage of resources has kept me from getting terribly serious about it.

Between my brother and I, we have enough pins to fill one of the storage binders they sell in Disney World...

I really do not have a good grasp of the possible value of any pins that I have, but my favorites are definately Pin #101 of 101 in the Disney Store Millenium Series (Mickey and Walt), the 'Eyes and Ears' Cast-Only Pin, and my miscolored Mickey Yin-Yang pin.

One thing I've noticed in my past three trips since '99, is that cast members are starting to carry less common pins. Back in '99, a majority of cast members carried solely stuff you could find at the pin stand at which they were working, or worse, various pieces of Mickey clothing that came in a set. However, on my past trip, trading with cast members was a lot more rewarding: We found a couple of cast-only pins, some old dated ones, and a few exclusive to California Adventure/Disneyland Paris.

Hello my name is Jaime I am from CT. I came home in March from Disney World and I have started a pin collect for my son down there. I have a whole bunch, now that I am addicted to it I cant stop LOL. I love Disney and Florida some day I want to move down there and work in Disney World. If I am not too old. My son also loves it down there he is only 2 1/2 and all he talks about is Disney and Florida. I hope to go back in September. I will have to get my pin collect to see which ones I have. Thanks for listening.

Hi, I'm Grace and I'm addicted to Disney Pin Trading!
Hi all. I was just about to make a Disney Pin Trading community because I searched it up with no results...it's a good think I took off Disney cuz that's how I found this :) Anyway, I'm 19. I've been to DisneyLand many times when I used to live in California. Now I live in Minnesota and visited Disney World for the first time in November...that's how I discovered pin trading. I was in Disney World for one week and I collected 15 pins and traded for a lanyard with the sleeping Mickey head (I even recieved a free Cinderella pin because the two cast members were halping out a fist-timer). I also recieved my Kellogg 100 Years of Disney pin in the mail last week.

Well today I was looking through my Tomart's Disneyana Guide to Pin Trading and I decided to go on ebay to find some pins. Today I bought 4 pins off ebay...I just know this hobby will make me broke :)
1)AA 7151 Year 5 Cast Member Pin
2)LD2277 Lenticular Locket issued on Walts 100th Birthday
3)ND0039 Bashful Pin
4)Jasmine's Palace from April 2002 series. I couldn't find it in my book so I guess it came after printing.

I've also noticed that this place isn't getting a lot of action. I'll have to tell some people about this so this community will be busier.

The usual hello :)
I'm new to the community and just thought i would introduce myself. My name is Jessica, and i'm a former disney world castmember (i worked at Disney-MGM Studios. hopefully will be going back to work this summer at Epcot or the Magic Kingdom) While i worked there I got introduced to pin trading through work, and from there grew my big collection :) My favorite pin genres include villains (particularly maleficent) peter pan (particularly the tink and peter) Nightmare before Christmas, and Epcot. :) (although I love to collect any others that catch my interest, lol) There are many pins i'm looking out for, but i have not had much luck with pinpics.com. I really miss trading in person face to face, hopefully i can get back to a park soon (I live all the way out in Oregon!) So, there's my hello! :)

WHOO HOOO!!!! *dances*
I got a comment yesterday from someone who lives 10 minutes from Disneyland and would be willing to pick up pins for me whenever I wanted. (read: whenever I can scrape together enough cash.) Plus, I listed all of my pins as tradeables on pinpics.com (except for the one that Beka gave me) because I can conceiveably replace all of them. I had the handy dandy trade assistant send out messages to everyone who wants something I have and has the Minnie Mouse/Belle pin that I really want. I got a message back this morning from a lady who wants to trade my Original Dress Belle for her Minnie Mouse Belle. Heck yeah, baby! I just need a little cash to pay for S&H, but I can scrounge that easily. YAY!!! It's all falling into place... *evil laughter*

ACK!!!!! Volume 4 and Volume 6. I like this Minnie as Belle much better than the stuffed animal. The stuffed animal, while also cute, sort of looks like Mickey in drag. I know some people would think it looks weird with the bow, but I like it.

I am your loving moderator. I just got back from Disneyland yesterday, and now my pin collection is extended to 6 (well, seven if you count the pin from Knott's Berry Farm, but I don't really). Here's a rundown of my pitiful little collection:
-long Beast pin (v. cool)
-Belle in the blue dress
-Belle from the Princess Collection
-a pin from the Lion King in LA brought from my lovely friend Beka
-the bell jar from Beauty and the Beast
-Tinkerbell admiring herself in the hand mirror (minus the hand mirror, of course)
I'm going to make a lanyard for them, so that the next time I go to a Disney park I look like a professional trader. The bell jar pin is a boxed 10th anniversary thing. I'm wondering if I should take it out of the box or not. Any suggestions?
